SERVICE PERSONNEL INITIAL REFRESHER
Overview:
This one-day e-learning programme refreshes the initial training and assessment requirements for service technicians under ISO 23678 Part 2. All guidance and documentation— delivered via go.cralog.com*—are supplied by CRALOG A/S.

- Service technician general industry knowledge.
- Basic safety at work.
Duration:
1 day e-learning.
Target group:
Technicians renewing or maintaining their Level 2 ISO 23678 certification.
Pre-requisites:
To hold a valid initial service technician certificate.
Aim:
The aim of the initial service technician refresher training programme is to update level 2 service technicians with industry updates and changes in relation to 9.3.2. objectives.
Objectives:
By the end of the refresher, candidates can:
- Update and extend their knowledge of legislation, industry guidelines, rules, regulations and conventions relevant to service technicians.
- Reconfirm procedures for thorough examination, operational testing, overhaul and repair of lifeboats, rescue boats, launching appliances and release gear.
- Apply current health-and-safety legislation and company-specific requirements in both onshore and offshore activities.
Certificate:
Initial Service Technician Certificate – valid 3 years.
