One network. One standard.
How to become — and stay — compliant.
An Authorised Service Provider (ASP) is an entity authorised by a Flag Administration, or by one of its Recognized Organizations (ROs), to carry out inspection, maintenance, thorough examination, operational testing, overhaul and repair of lifesaving and lifting appliances in accordance with international maritime legislation.
ASP approvals are based on compliance with:
Port State Control (PSC), Flag State Administrations and Classification Societies acting as Recognized Organizations (ROs) rely on ASP certification as documented evidence that equipment on board is fit for purpose and serviced by competent personnel with full traceability.
In this industry, training does not give you permission to work. To operate as a service provider that flag states and class societies recognise, you need:

CRALOG combines everything required to perform, document and maintain compliant inspection services under IMO regulations.
Training & Certification
We train and certify technicians to ISO 23678 and IMO requirements. Certificates are linked to real inspection data and ongoing activity.

Software & Documentation
Inspections are performed and recorded in the CRALOG software, which:
Class societies that authorise CRALOG ASPs require reports issued through the platform.
Quality Assessment
We support service providers through authorisations from:
Most ASPs cannot independently demonstrate full ISO 23678 compliance without third-party certified systems, training and audit support.
CRALOG helps bridge this gap through structured Quality Assessment systems, competence management and internationally recognised training.

CRALOG ASPs operate under a shared system: common standards, common documentation, global acceptance. Take jobs immediately, issue Statements of Fitness, and operate internationally.
Every ASP is listed in the cralog.com service-provider directory and receives requests for quotes from vessel managers worldwide.

First point of contact for service providers seeking CRALOG ASP authorisation. I help ASPs through MSC.402(96), ISO 23678 and flag-state / class-society approvals — from initial QA assessment through audit. Over 30 years' experience as trainer and assessor for lifeboats, rescue boats and launching appliances.

I handle stakeholder communication, pre-assessments and participant support across the certification journey — and work with Nick on the ASP Authorisation Track. Fluent in Danish, English, Spanish and Portuguese, with some Italian.
